I am a senior concentrating in Biomedical Engineering, and I am a co-president of SWE. My role includes working with our corporate partners to secure sponsorships and plan events for the engineering community, leading the Executive Board in planning and organizing events, and coordinating funding and support from the School of Engineering. Outside of SWE, I am the president of BMES, a BDW Head Mentor, and a researcher in the Colvin Lab. During my free time, I love to paint, bake, and hang out with friends!
Rhea Rasquinha

Hi! I am a sophomore concentrating in biomedical engineering. As Internal Communications Chair, I am responsible for sending out weekly updates through the SWEekly email, keeping records of membership, coordinating with the School of Engineering Academic Program Coordinator, and managing SWE's social media and online presence. Outside of SWE, I am a BDW Mentor and Meiklejohn, and I also write for The Brown Daily Herald and The Rib. In my free time, I love to be outside, try different kinds of chocolate, and spend time with friends or dogs (or both!).

My role as Outreach Director includes working closely with the the other Outreach Director and the Outreach Committee in coordinating and planning events to expand the engineering community at Brown, in Providence, and across the country. At Brown, I am also involved on the varsity field hockey team, and I’m part of the Coulombe Lab. During my free time, I love to go for runs and try new restaurants!

At Brown, I am also Co-President of Brown Club Tennis. During my free time, I love being outdoors and being with dogs (dogs and dawgs). Some jobs I do in my role as one of the professional development co-directors include reaching out to alumni and professionals for networking events, holding resume and cover letter workshops, and helping SWE members develop their professional skills! At Brown, I am involved with Design for America (DFA) and also research in the Harris Lab. Outside of school, I love to explore outside, try new food places, and thrift!

Hello everyone! My name is Angelina (but everyone pretty much calls me Angie) and I’m a junior studying biomedical engineering. As an outreach committee director, I work on creating events in the Providence schools and community. Outside of SWE, I am an undergraduate researcher in the Srivastava lab and a member of the running club. In my free time, I love to watch New Girl, visit the shops on Thayer, and spend time with my cat Chloe!

My role as Co-Vice President includes working closely with the Presidents to coordinate and plan events, secure sponsorships with corporate partners, and expand the influence of SWE throughout the engineering community at Brown and the greater Providence area. At Brown, I am a BDW Mentor and very active in Hillel programming and Brown’s Alzheimer’s Activists club. I also mentor a high school robotics team when I am not in B&H. During my free time, I love to climb, bake, hike, and spend time in nature with friends.

I also communicate with companies and other professionals to organize informational guest panels and events. In addition to SWE, I am also on the Eboard of MASH and am involved with club badminton. In my free time I enjoy doing art, exploring new restaurants, and playing video games with friends.

Being from Boulder, CO, I enjoy hiking, trail running, swimming, and playing spikeball in my free time.
